Contribution of the European Union to the purchase of fire-fighting equipment for the handling of chemicals

Mr. Jānis Grīnbergs, Deputy Chief of the State Fire and Rescue Service informs about the European Union's contribution for purchase of the equipment for firefighters to work with chemical substances: "CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear) equipment is very important to us and we also use it very often in transport crashes as well as leaks in different bodies of water, rivers. We are using the resources of the European Union funds to develop the State Fire and Rescue service resources, equipment and infrastructure”.
