European Union's investment into the National Coordination Centre of the State Border Guard

Mr. Jānis Laimiņš, Chief of the Operational Management Board of the State Border Guard explains about the European Union's contribution into the National Coordination Centre of the State Border Guard: “The Centre ensures the exchange of information, transfer of information, co-ordination, establishment of communications not only within the framework of Latvia, but also within the framework of the Baltic States and the EU. Software, sensors, video surveillance and other mobile and technical surveillance equipment are used for common security at the EU's external borders."
