Foundation "Let's Help" implemented their Social Rehabilitation Program “Freedom”, in which 26 children with disabilities received social rehabilitation services (psychologist counseling, canisterapia, combatting, arts therapy, game therapy, physiotherapy) that improved children's health status and developed their intellectual, movement and communication capabilities, as well as skills and self-confidence.
Children's parents and guardians participated in a variety of educational activities (meeting a family psychologist, drama therapy, art therapy, motion and dance therapy, personality growth, healthy lifestyle practice), thereby extending their vision and gaining a psychological echo in solving everyday problems.
A closing survey concluded that both children and their parents have had positive experience, some children see improvements in their health status, particularly thanks to customized treatments.
Thanks to activities of the project groups, children who had some communication problems became more open and compassionate. On the other hand, children's parents appreciated the time when they could relax and take part in group classes while their children were watched and busy in their classrooms, as there had not been a time for such of activities on a daily basis.
