"Kalmes" opens a new dairy farm

Participation in the Rural Development Programme’s investment measures is essential stepping stone for the growth and development of the farm "Kalmes". Project for the construction of dairy cow farm, which provides robotic milking and building a manure storage, has been successfully implemented. There was an opening ceremony of the newly built dairy farm "Kalmes" on September 22, 2023 in Rožkalni parish, Preiļi region.  

Owners of the farm "Kalmes" - Jānis and Marija Lazdāni - are specialized in dairy farming and work with organic farming methods. Much attention is paid not only to the development and growth of their farm, but also to the process of creation attractive surrounding environment - it is one of the neatest farms in region
