Social experiment: touring under the control of a blind guide

The Ministry of Welfare, while continuing to raise the issue of building an inclusive society, calls for an assessment of the importance of support, understanding and empathy for people with disabilities. This year, on June 16, an interactive event for young people took place in Cesis, a social experiment that allowed its members to take part in an exciting tour led by the guide, Beate Bringule.

Beath compensates her lack of vision with her talents -  plays organ, makes beautiful crafts, and inspires others with her optimism and credo of life: “if you are not allowed to get in through the door, step through the window."

The social experiment was conducted by young people from the youth council of the city of Cesis, where young people from the National Gymnasium of Cesis, the High School of Cesis City, and Vidzeme Technology and Design Technical School are active, feeling the sound, smell and feelings of gidge in the world.
