Thanks to EU co-financing, the material and technical support of the State Police operational management units will be improved

To improve the material and technical support of operational management units, the State Police is implementing the project "Improvement of the Capacity and Material and Technical Support of Operational Management Units and Special Task Units (STU)" with the funding of the Internal Security Fund.

The project aims to enhance the material and technical support of the State Police operational management units by purchasing and adapting a mobile operational command center to improve the coordination of police resources and situation management during large events, crises, and operations. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen the capacity of special task units by acquiring specialized equipment and vehicles tailored to the needs of the Special Task Battalion of the State Police Main Order Police Department. Simultaneously, the project plans to organize large-scale training, promoting cross-border cooperation.

The total funding for the project "Improvement of the Capacity and Material and Technical Support of Operational Management Units and Special Task Units (STU)" No. VP/IDF/2023/5 is 1,200,000 euros, of which 900,000 euros is funded by the Internal Security Fund, and 300,000 euros is funded by the state budget. The project is scheduled to be implemented from July 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025."
