Current progress of the EU co-funded project "Improvement of the unified criminal intelligence system"

Ministry of the Interior

The State Police, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior's Information Centre and the State Border Guard, is implementing an EU co-funded project that strengthens information exchange, cross-border cooperation, and crime fighting by developing and improving the national criminal intelligence information system.

To date, active data integration from more than 35 information systems has been carried out, as well as the completion of the implementation of the criminal group functionality.

Amendments to Cabinet of Ministers Regulations related to system technical improvements and e-case development are being drafted.

Work is also underway on developing and integrating international information exchange solutions.

This EU co-funded project significantly improves the organization of criminal intelligence work and international cooperation.
