Once again, every Latvian resident with a smartphone is encouraged to use the free "112 Latvia" app, which was developed with EU funds support.

The app provides the ability to call or send a text message to the unified emergency assistance number 112, receive notifications about potential threats, and learn how to act in various dangerous situations.

The "112 Latvia" app can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. It is suitable for use on smartphones with iOS and Android operating systems. The app is free, but depending on the selected mobile communication tariff, charges may apply for internet usage.
