Discussion "Electric trucks. Discussion on future developments in Europe and Latvia"

The European Union has set a climate change target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 and to become the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050.

The transport sector has an important role to play in this context, as 61% of total carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions come directly from the cars. One of the measures to achieve the climate targets is the development of electric cars and the infrastructure to support them.
