Experience exchange, thanks to Erasmus+! State Police College cadets' visit to the Police Academy of Lower Saxony has taken place

Ministry of the Interior

Cadets of the State Police College participated in an international student exchange program held at the Police Academy of Lower Saxony in Hannoversch Münden, Germany, from March 24 to 28, 2025.

Once again, the program included both theoretical and practical classes, as well as diverse cultural and experience exchange activities.

During the lectures, topics such as working with time-barred criminal cases, crime scene investigation with a focus on the basics of dactyloscopy, as well as the operational directions of cynology and traffic police were examined. Different countries' police models were studied to identify common and distinctive features in European law enforcement systems.

The cadets participated in attack repulsion and defense tactics training and scenario-based exercises, which contribute to the improvement of existing skills. During the event, a police station in Göttingen was visited to learn more about the work of canine handlers and riot police, as well as the Braunschweig traffic police station to understand the working methods and organization of the Lower Saxony Police.

Thanks to the support of Erasmus +, the cadets were able to gain a unique international experience that will significantly enrich their future professional activities and promote more effective cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of European countries.
