International growth thanks to Erasmus+! State Police College cadets on a visit to the Spanish National Police Academy!

Ministry of the Interior

From March 10th to March 14th, 2025, cadets of the State Police College participated in an international conference held at the Spanish National Police Academy in Ávila. The event program included both theoretical and practical sessions, as well as cultural and experience exchange activities.

During the theoretical lectures, topics such as strategic planning in police work, the importance of international cooperation in the field of security, and modern challenges related to terrorism and cybercrime were examined. Police models from various countries were also analyzed to understand the commonalities and differences in European systems.

The cadets participated in shooting simulations, close combat, and physical training exercises, which allowed them to gain new knowledge and skills for their future service.

During the event, visits were made to Spanish police units in Madrid – the canine, mounted, prevention, and response units, as well as the Criminal Police Investigation Center, to understand the working methods and organization of the Spanish police.

The cadets evaluate this experience exchange event as a significant contribution to fostering international cooperation between European countries, as well as to the professional skills and knowledge of each participant.
