Ministry of Economics

On December 18 of this year, the Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Climate and Energy, and Elektrum Energy Efficiency Center invite participation in the webinar "Renovation of Multi-Apartment Buildings. Microgeneration in the Residential Sector."

The event aims to inform about the latest developments in microgeneration for the residential sector, quality preparation of buildings for solar panel installation, and binding regulatory regulations.

The Ministry of Economics will inform webinar participants about the decision-making process, conditions for installing solar panels in construction regulatory documents, and applicable construction processes. Consumer Rights Protection Center colleagues will provide recommendations for choosing solar panels.

Experts from the Ministry of Climate and Energy will inform about the new regulatory framework and its application to microgeneration in the residential sector, as well as energy communities and their prospects in the future energy market.

A representative of AS "Sadales tīkls" will inform about the installation of solar panels and process management. During the webinar, there will also be an opportunity to learn about preparing a multi-apartment building for solar panel installation, as well as about solar panels and real estate insurance.

The webinar agenda and registration form are published on the website of the Ministry of Economics. Previous event materials can be accessed here. The webinar is organized as part of the informational campaign "Live Warmer" and the contest "Most Energy Efficient Building in Latvia."

Reminder: The Development Finance Institution "Altum" offers support from the Recovery Fund for improving the energy efficiency of multi-apartment buildings and transitioning to renewable energy resource technologies. More information is available on the Altum website.
