The State Border Guard strengthens mobility with EU support

Ministry of the Interior

At the beginning of 2025, continuing the implementation of the project "Improving the Mobility of the State Border Guard," the State Border Guard, with EU co-financing, has acquired 17 new Lynx Ranger 59 snowmobiles.

These vehicles will significantly improve the State Border Guard's mobility, border surveillance quality, and response speed to incidents.

The project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Financial Instrument for Border Management and Visa Policy 2021-2027 planning period, with the Ministry of the Interior as the managing institution in Latvia.
