On June 14th this year, a forum will take place in Rēzekne on the Recovery Fund support programs for business digitalization titled "Support for Business Digitalization - AN OPPORTUNITY that MUST BE UTILIZED! Funding and solutions". During the event, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to learn about available support programs, conditions for receiving support, opportunities to receive a digital development roadmap, and the procedure for applying for state support.
At the beginning of the forum, the Ministry of Economics will provide an insight into the Recovery Fund support programs for business digitalization. Representatives from the European Center for Digital Innovation - Latvian Information Technology Cluster (Latgale Business Center) or Latvian Digital Accelerator will inform about how to conduct an initial digital maturity test and how to get a digital development roadmap. Representatives from the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) and Altum will give presentations on how merchants can apply for state support – LIAA grants or Altum loans with capital discount for business digitalization, after receiving a digital development roadmap.
Juris Verečinskis from the National Guard Cyber Defense Unit will remind entrepreneurs about cybersecurity. Meanwhile, a representative of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SIA "Excellent Latvia" expert Elvis Kvalbergs will share his experience on where to start and what is essential in business digitalization. The forum will also be attended by Zane Grigale-Soročina, Chairwoman of the Board of SIA "Rasa Botanicals", who will share her experience story on the path to business digitalization.
At the same time, during the forum, merchants will have the opportunity to receive face-to-face consultations from LIAA, Altum, Latvian Information Technology Cluster (Latgale Business Center), and the Latvian digitalization accelerator on obtaining support.
