On November 28-29, 2024, a training event "International Cooperation Instruments in Combating Excise Crimes" took place in Jūrmala, organized by the Tax and Customs Police Department of the State Revenue Service.

The aim of the event was to strengthen international cooperation and promote the exchange of experience in the fight against excise crimes.

The event program included diverse activities, including discussions and experience sharing. Participants engaged in active dialogue and shared their accumulated knowledge, strengthening mutual support and improving professional skills.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the Internal Security Fund's 2021-2027 planning period, for which the managing institution in Latvia is the Ministry of the Interior.
