To inform about the state support for starting and growing a business, the Development Finance Institution ALTUM invites young entrepreneurs, rapidly growing companies, as well as media representatives to attend an informative event that will take place on March 27, at the Mūkusalas office center, Dēļu street 2, in the conference hall "ZEISS" from 10:00 to 12:00.
The event will be opened by the Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis and the Chairman of the Board of ALTUM, Reinis Bērziņš, who will introduce the availability of financing for starting a business, as well as the available loans up to 100 thousand euros for small and medium enterprises, where the collateral requirements have been significantly reduced.
During the Business Start-up Day, the head of the market research company "Norstat," Linda Ezera, will introduce a study that has determined the opinions of new entrepreneurs on how recent developments have affected new entrepreneurs in Latvia, their export ambitions, where to obtain financing, and how problematic it is in the current economic conditions. Respondents were also asked about the role of the state in co-financing companies and potential solutions, as well as the future forecasts of business starters, income changes, and satisfaction with life.
Afterward, experts from ALTUM, the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, and the Rural Support Service will introduce the current offer for entrepreneurs and state support for business starters and rapidly growing new companies. Event participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of interest in person to experts about state support programs.
Business starters, rapidly growing companies, and media representatives who wish to attend the event in person are invited to register here. Those who wish to watch the event online are invited to do so on the ALTUM Facebook profile.
