Ministry of Economics

The jury for the "Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia 2024" contest will continue to accept applications until June 18th of this year. Applications can be submitted for renovated and newly constructed multi-apartment buildings, public buildings, detached houses, and industrial buildings.

Now in its 14th year, the "Live Warmer" campaign's contest "Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia" aims to promote best practices in building energy efficiency and sustainability. This includes implementing energy-efficient construction, renovation, and remodeling, thereby reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere and fostering public awareness about well-being, building insulation, indoor climate, as well as the importance and possibilities of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to create quality, architecturally expressive living spaces.

We traditionally invite applications in five categories:

  1. Most Energy-Efficient Renovated Multi-Apartment Building;

  2. Most Energy-Efficient Multi-Apartment Building - New Construction;

  3. Most Energy-Efficient Public Building;

  4. Most Energy-Efficient Detached House;

  5. Most Energy-Efficient Industrial Building.

The regulations for the "Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia 2024" contest are published on the contest's website www.energoefektivakaeka.lv.
