Interior sector institutions, entrepreneurs and training institutions to find common solutions to strengthen national internal security will meet on the “Industry Day 2023 of the Ministry of the Interior"

On 20 April 2023, “Industry Day 2023 of the Ministry of the Interior” will be happening. “Industry Day of the Ministry of the Interior” is organized with the aim to encourage discussions on the current topics in the interior sector, as well as to provide entrepreneurs and training institutions with an opportunity to present to the interior sector authorities and cooperation partners the technological developments to strengthen security functions.

The participants of the event will also have a unique opportunity to get acquinted with the exhibition of the industry and research institutions on the backyard of the building complex of the Ministry of the Interior.

Businesses, as well as education and research institutions, will have the opportunity to inform about their topics, their latest products, services and research results.

In the discussions there will be in presence the management of the Ministry of the Interior, also subordinate institutions of the Ministry of the Interior. The management of the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia and representatives of businesses and training institutions will be also in presence. Overall aim is to discuss the priorities of the interior sector, civil protection challenges and opportunities, technological developments to strengthen security functions, human capital developments in the security sector, as well as new training methods and training models.
