The EU-funded project for the development of a collaborative architecture and requirements has been launched

Ministry of the Interior

Implementation of the project "Development of a Collaborative Architecture and Requirements" has commenced. The project aims to develop a set of documentation and carry out development work necessary for the development of a collaborative solution in the areas of border guard, police, asylum, and migration.

The development of a collaborative architecture is necessary to ensure the cooperation of Latvia's national solutions with European Union-level information systems. Cooperation will allow these systems to interact and complement each other – data stored in one information system will be compared and linked to data from other systems to facilitate the correct identification of individuals and more effectively prevent potential violations.

As a result of the project, an architecture of national collaborative IS solutions, product maps, and requirements will be developed.

The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Financial Instrument for Borders and Visa Policy for the 2021-2027 planning period, the managing authority for which in Latvia is the Ministry of the Interior.
